Ingredients: Long-Grain Rice

Use a 1:2 ratio of one cup of rice to two cups of water. Bring the water to boil in a small sauce pan. When the water comes to boil, stir in the rice, salt and butter (if using) and bring it to a gentle simmer for 20 minutes.
